Are transactions through Cellarit secure?

We take the issue of security very seriously. We want you to be comfortable with using Cellarit's services. We use SSL 128 bit encryption technology to ensure your credit card details remain secure while your transaction is processed through the Internet payment system at the Commonwealth Bank Australia.You can also choose to have your card details stored on our system, where we are confident they will be safe from unauthorised access, but you will still have to enter your details every time you make a purchase until we implement the functions to allow us to process payments from stored details. Do I have to provide my details and logon?  

We've put a great deal of thought into making Cellarit as easy to use as possible. We also want you to feel free to explore the site to check out all the features and benefits that Cellarit offers. We have therefore designed the site so there are only a few points at which you need to logon (and to register if you haven't previously become a member). You have to logon once you've selected wine and you want to complete the check out procedure to finalise your purchase. You need to logon to enter My Wine Cellar to see details of the wine you own, and you need to logon to enter My Loyalty Program to see details of the Loyalty Program benefits you've accumulated.

 
Is my privacy protected?  

When you register, you provide us with personal information. We know how important it is that personal information remains that way: personal and private. We therefore use the latest system design and protection mechanisms to ensure that your name, address and other personal information and details of the wine that you own are secure from unauthorised access. Our servers are protected by SSL encryption and can only be directly accessed by Cellarit. We will regularly evaluate and audit our systems and implement enhanced security measures as they become available. We will not give your details to anyone else. What browser do I need?  

Cellarit is designed for use with version 4.0 or later of Microsoft Internet Explorer and version 6.0 or later of Netscape Navigator. If you need to update your browser, you can download the latest version for free at Microsoft or Netscape.

 
Can I get help if I'm having technical problems?  

If you're experiencing technical difficulties and can't find a solution on the site, contact us by choosing Contact Us from the Help & Tools menu at the top right of the page.

 
Am I committed to Cellarit for the long term?  

We're confident that Cellarit offers so many benefits that you'll keep using us for as long as you keep enjoying wine. We don't need to lock you in with up front payments and lengthy contracts. There is no fee for becoming a Cellarit member and you don't have to sign up for a minimum period. You simply pay for the services you use, meaning you can stop using Cellarit at any time without any more to pay. If you become a valued long-term customer, you'll be continually rewarded by receiving points in our Loyalty Program that never expire.
