What is My Wine Cellar?

The software that powers the My Wine Cellar area of the site provides you with a complete wine cellar management tool. It allows you to keep comprehensive records of all your wine, including the quantity of each wine that you own, where it is kept, how much you paid for it and its cellar history. My Wine Cellar does most of the mundane work for you. When you buy wine through Cellarit, all details are automatically recorded in My Cellar. Once a My Wine Cellar record exists, you don't have to manually maintain it; it is updated every time you sell wine or use the Request Delivery function to change the wine's location. My Wine Cellar will become the only tool you need to manage your collection and to record years of enjoying fine wine.

 
Where is my wine kept?  

My Wine Cellar maintains a record of your wine, regardless of where you keep it - at Cellarit, at home or at your office. Wine Storage is located in the Sydney suburb of Wetherill Park. We offer next day delivery to metro Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane as well as a collection service. Deliveries into Wine Storage from retailers, wineries or other sources are welcome.

 
How does wine I buy get listed in My Cellar?  

• You can manually record details of wine you buy and cellar at home or elsewhere, so your My Wine Cellar records will keep track of every wine you own.
• When you buy wine through the Wine Market, it appears automatically on your My Wine Cellar list regardless of where you have it delivered to.
• If you buy wine from a different supplier for delivery to Wine Storage, you should catalogue it first and then use the Transfer to Cellarit feature to notify us to expect delivery. We will verify that the wine on your list matches what we receive.

 
How do I get wine delivered from My Cellar?  

My Wine Cellar lists all the wine that you own. Some, perhaps most, of your wine may be in Wine Storage, but that doesn't mean that it's inaccessible. To have it delivered, use the Transfer From Cellarit feature and follow the prompts to choose the amount you want delivered and the delivery details. Cellarit's warehouse is on the same site as its national courier company, so your wine delivery is fast, efficient and overseen by Cellarit from start to finish.

 
Can I get other wine delivered into My Cellar?  

Yes, the Transfer To Cellarit feature lets you have wine delivered to Wine Storage from wherever you currently have it cellared.
• For example, if your wine is at home, catalogue it into your home wine cellar and then use the Transfer to Cellarit feature. You can elect for Cellarit to pick up your wine or you can drop it off yourself.
• If your wine is coming from a retailer or a winery that is not part of the Cellarit network, you'll need to notify us by filling out a simple online form. This is so we can check and verify that the wine arriving into Wine Storage is exactly the wine the you ordered. We will report any discrepancies to you.

 
Why is the number or cartons important when Cellarit collects my wine?  
The driver will arrive with pre-printed labels, with your details, for each of your wine boxes. These labels are essential to accurately track your wine into your Cellarit account. If you are unsure of how many boxes you wish collected, overestimate a little. It's better if the driver arrives with too many labels vs. too few labels...and leaving some of your (unlabeled) wine boxes behind!

 
How do I find out more about a wine in My Cellar?  

My Wine Cellar tells you the name, vintage, bottle size, quantity held and cost of each of your wines. The colour of the wineglass icon to the right of each wine's details tells you at a glance whether the wine is sparkling, white, red or fortified. You can find out more about each wine by clicking on the "i" icon. My Wine Cellar then provides you with further details, including a winery note, the region the wine is from, its wine cellar history, condition, rating and the history of each of your purchases of that wine.
 

 
Can I change My Cellar's records if I no longer have a wine?  

Yes. If you drink a wine or if your inventory changes for any reason, you can alter it by clicking on the icon in My Cellar. If your wine is in Wine Storage, you cannot change the quantity - it will adjust automatically when you remove it by choosing Transfer From Cellarit.
