What wine gift options does Cellarit offer?

You can purchase bottles from the Cellarit Wine Market or send a Wine Gift Certificate.

When you purchase a wine gift, it's sent directly to your recipient. When you purchase a wine gift certificate, your recipient can use it to choose a preferred bottle or the value can be used for wine storage services.

For wine gifts, you'll need the delivery details and phone number for the recipient. It's also important to indicate delivery instructions in the event that nobody is available to sign for the wine.

• Note: Make sure the Delivery Details are correct for your gift recipient and make any changes, if necessary.

For wine gift certificates, all you need to enter is the dollar amount, the preferred date to send the wine gift certificate (via email) and the recipient's email address.

For wine gifts, click on Buy Wine and then choose the bottle you wish to send and add it to your shopping cart. You may choose as many bottles to add to your shopping cart as you like. Then, click Checkout and fill in the details on the easy-to-use form. You may enter a gift message on the form.

For wine gift certificates, click on Wine Gifts and then wine gift certificates. Enter the information on the form (email address, gift message, dollar value and delivery date) and then click on Continue to Checkout.

Payment for either wine gift option is via our secure payment gateway, hosted by the Commonwealth Bank of Australia. Cellarit accepts Visa, MasterCard and Amex but please note that Amex (only) attracts a surcharge of 3%.

All wine prices on the Cellarit website are in Australian dollars, inclusive of any GST component. You'll receive a full tax invoice on all wine gift purchases.

For wine gift certificates, there is no GST charged and the full amount that you nominate is passed onto your recipient. When the wine gift certificate is redeemed, any GST components will be detailed on the recipients confirmation.

Yes ... and no. Our primary objective is to deliver your wine gift in one piece, without any rattling noises or leakage! Wine gifts of 1,2 or 3 wine bottles or 1 champagne or 1 magnum bottle are packed into styrofoam holders and then into gift boxes (see the picture in the Wine Gifts section). Larger wine gift orders are packed in stylish Cellarit cartons.
 

The wine gift certificate you send is delivered via email. The email contains a link to the Cellarit website and easy-to-follow instructions on how to make a redemption.

Basically, Cellarit wine gift certificates are the same as cash. They can be used for anything on the Cellarit website that would ordinarily be paid for by credit card. Examples include wine from the Wine Market; charges related to Wine Storage such as monthly storage fees or handling charges, etc.

Cellarit has developed a sophisticated account system to address this common situation:

• If the purchase is for less than the wine gift certificate amount, the balance of value is retained and can be used towards a future purchase of wine or services.
• If the purchase is for more than the wine gift certificate amount, the balance can be paid during checkout with a credit card.
  
  

Wine gift certificates can be redeemed anytime, day or night, 24x7 for up to 2 years from the date it is sent to the recipient.
