Wine Storage & Distribution - How Does It Work?

Pallets in, boxes out. It's easy and efficient Before your wine leaves the winery, catalogue what you're sending using the Cellarit software. Your wine will be flagged on your screen as 'in transit'. When your wine arrives, Cellarit uses your information to verify that it's arrived exactly as specified and places it into wine storage. Your wine will no longer be listed as 'in transit' and you may begin to place delivery requests any time, 24 hours per day.

Next-day wine delivery is available for metro Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane for all orders placed before 1 pm. Most other shipments have transit times of 2-3 days.

To action a wine delivery, choose the wine and quantity and enter your customer's delivery details, including instructions for 'not at home' deliveries. If you choose, the software remembers the delivery details and instructions to save you the trouble of typing them for future deliveries. You receive an email confirmation of your wine delivery request along with an order reference number.

Your inventory details are reduced by the quantity of each wine that you deliver from the warehouse and any fees incurred are automatically itemised on your monthly invoice.

Wine Market

You may list any wine in your inventory for sale at the price you set. Your wine is available to customers who visit the Cellarit site from all over the world. Your wine will also be listed with the major internet wine search engines so anybody who has tried your wine (perhaps at a restaurant or a friend's house) can find it easily. There's no seller's commission and just 1/11th of the listing price is netted-out to cover the buyer's commission that's included in the listing price.

After choosing your wine for their shopping basket, customers may then checkout using our secure online payment screen. Cellarit handles all aspects of the financial transaction and absorbs the merchant fee.
